The victory in Perm over "Parma" allowed UNICS once again to become the first in the regular season of the VTB United League.

Guests today put up such a starting five: Melvin Ejim, Maurice Ndour, Quino Colom, Trent Lockett and Evgeny Kolesnikov. Missed several matches Ndour single-handedly quickly made the score 0: 5, then Kolesnikov and Lockett - 0: 8. But Stephane Lasme was not announced for the game, instead,  Danilo Andjusic was in, he appeared on the floor in the third quarter.

And only after more than two minutes after the beginning of the meeting the hosts scored their first points, the three-pointer. Looking ahead, we note that long-range throws this evening greatly helped Perm, 9 hits against 5 of the guests. Three such hits per minute and the score was 9:10. The starting five of UNICS played half of the first quarter, after which fresh Jamar Smith, Andrei Koshcheev, Anton Ponkrashov, Pavel Sergeev and Vladislav Trushkin entered the game. They finished the first period  18:22.

And in the second quarter, Parma scored well behind the arc, which allowed them to constantly catch up the citizens of Kazan, 26:29 in the middle of the period, 28:29. Finally, the hosts managed to establish the balance on the scoreboard for the first and last time in the match, 31:31. Fortunately, Trushkin and Smith also made their three-point shots, 31:36. In a word, not without difficulty, but the guests were able to hold the Perms at a short distance before a long break, 36:41.

The second half was even more stubborn. Permians made a lot of efforts in order to level the game, which they as a whole succeeded. Another thing is that the guests, having played extremely rationally, exerted exactly the same effort to keep Parma, albeit at a close, but distance. The owners began to err more often, and were quickly punished. Jerk of guests 9-0 and now UNICS ahead with a double-digit margin, 45:55. Koshcheev from under the ring makes the gap maximum in this meeting, 48:59. However, at the end of the third quarter, the Urals managed to noticeably reduce the gap in the score, 58:62.

The last quarter became the most nervous. Kolesnikov scored from behind the arc, 62:71, but Perm citizens managed to punish the guests for negligence and mistakes, 80:84 for 30 seconds before the end of the match. And yet the Kazanians coolly retained their advantage by winning another victory, allowing them at least a day to become the leader of the tournament.

"Parma" (Perm) - UNICS (Kazan) - 81:88 (18:22, 18:19, 22:24, 23:23). The most effective: "Parma" - Miller-McIntyre (28), Ukhov (25); UNICS - Smith (16), Ndour (13), Colom (12).
