Basketball club UNICS has signed a contract with guard Erick GREEN (190 cm, 83 kg), who has 52 NBA matches and 102 Euroleague games. The agreement with the 32-year-old American is made for one year.

Green started last season in Israel's Hapoel from Holon. At the end of December, the guard moved to Buduchnost, which he helped to become the champion of Montenegro and win the Cup of the country. In 16 matches of the Adriatic League, his average statistics were 15.1 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 steal in 26 minutes on the floor. In the EuroCup, Erick took part in 10 games for the team from Podgorica, averaging 18.8 points (51% from behind the arc), 1.9 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.1 steals in 25.3 minutes.

In 2013, the University of Virginia graduate was selected in the second round of the NBA draft by the Utah Jazz. In two seasons, Green played 52 games in the National Basketball Association with Denver and Utah with averages of 3.1 points, 0.8 assists and 0.7 assists.

In Europe, the newcomer of UNICS played for Greek Olympiacos, Spanish Valencia and Real Betis, Turkish Fenerbahce and Bahcesehir, Italian Siena and Treviso, Israeli Hapoel from Holon and Montenegrin Buduchnost. Green's track record also includes appearances for Fujian Sturgeons and Zhejiang Golden Bulls in the Chinese Championship, as well as for the farm teams Sacramento Kings and Indiana Pacers in the NBA G-League.

The American guard's collection of awards includes silver medals of the Euroleague with Olympiacos (2017), victories in the Turkish Cup with Fenerbahce (2019), the Spanish Super Cup with Valencia (2017) and the Italian Super Cup with Siena (2014). In the 2012-13 senior season, Erick became the most resultative NCAA player, In 2016, he was included in the All-NBA G-League First Team, in 2016 he entered the symbolic top five of the NBA G-League season, and in 2017 he was recognized as the MVP of the Spanish Super Cup.

On February 2, 2017, Green, playing for Olympiacos, scored 25 points (10/13 from the game) in the winning game of the Euroleague against UNICS. In the same season, he helped the club from Piraeus reach the Euroleague final in Istanbul, where the Greeks lost to Fenerbahce (64:80). In the decisive match, Eric scored 7 points and 4 rebounds.
