Hotel and sports complex in Vasilyevo

In January 2005 the country BC UNICS hotel ans sport complex entered into exploitation. The base meets all modern requirements of the training process conducting, as well as of the plays of professional teams of different kinds of sports. The base is situated on the territory of the well- known health resort Vasilievsky, in a picturesque place, near the Volga river. The ship-groves of the Lebyazhye Lake and the Reservation of the Raifsky Monastery, near the health resort, are considered to be the best in Russia. 

The health resort Vasilievsky is located near the railway station Vasilievo on the route Kazan-Moscow. The capital of Tatarstan is 30 km. far from the Vasilievo-settlement. There is also a motorway to connect the localities. Not far from the health resort (5-7 km.) there is a world- known Raifsky monastery with a holy spring.

BC UNICS hotel and sport complex was built and equipped taking into account the residence of tall people. Two teams can train in a one hall simultaneously, that is why the sporting hall, which is intended for the basketball-players or volleyball players, handball players, mini-football teams or other kind of sport trainings, there is a tissue partition screen. The hall is perfect for the sparring matches and calendar games. The spectator tribunes are for two thousand seats. Together with the sporting halls there are also 2 gym-halls with various modern import equipment. Comfortable showers, saunas, cloak-rooms correspond to all the equipment demands. The sporting hall is bound with the hotel by means of the covered passage.

The 4-storeyed hotel for 80 rooms offers 4 types of the apartments: single rooms (30), double rooms (46), 2 suites and 2 VIP-apartments. All of them and the furniture inside are counted on the possibility of residence of tall people. (E.g., the door aperture is 240 cm.,when usually it is 210; the ceiling in the rooms is also higher than the standard). There is also an elevator in the hotel.

There is a billiard hall on the 4th floor, each floor hall is cosy, its' interior style differs. On the lowest floor there is a video-hall where movies or another video production can be previewed.

Sportsmen have their meals in a restaurant of the Vasilievsky health-resort, which placed near the hotel. There is a great variety of dishes. Together with trainings the sportsmen can take medical treatment procedures in a specialized cardio-neurological hospital of the Vasilievsky hotel-resort. One of the nature factors of the health-resort is mineral water and the therapeutic mud. There are excursions for the Raifsky monastery and sight-seeing tours to Kazan and ship trips by the Volga river to the world known city Sviyajsk, which is together with the Raifsky monastery can be in the list of 50 most famous places in Russia.

After opening of the training complex, the basketball players of Magnitogorsk, Dynamo and the Youth National team of Russia visited it.
