Velimir Perasovic is the best coach of the 2023/24 season in the VTB United League!

BC UNICS head coach Velimir PERASOVIC was recognized as the best coach of the VTB United League season. Congratulations!

The 59-year-old Croatian specialist has been leading our team since the summer of 2021. Last year, under the leadership of Perasovic, UNICS got a historic achievement by becoming the champion of the VTB United League and Russia for the first time. Kazan continued their victorious pace this season and won the regular season for the first time in the history of the tournament, with 26 victories.

Earlier in the 2021/22 season, Perasovic won bronze medals at the VTB United League Championship with UNICS. In 2022 and 2023 Velimir was selected as the head coach for the All-Star Game.
