Andrey Kibenko's team exchanged victories with Avtodor-2 on October 5 and 6 in Saratov in the opening matches of the regular season of the VTB United Youth League.

In the first match the Kazan youth team won back a 12-point gap during the final quarter and took the lead, but Skotnikov's accurate throw stole the victory from UNICS-2 in a final seconds before the buzzer - 66:67. Our center Yaroslav PRISHEDKO scored a double-double of 20 points and 13 rebounds. Guard Vladimir NAUMOV added 15 points with 9 rebounds. Guard Roman ILYUK has 11 points and 5 assists.

Today, on October 6, UNICS-2 took revenge against Saratov with a score of 64:60. Vladimir NAUMOV (19 + 9 rebounds) and Egor SHAPOSHNIKOV (16) became the best in the white-green team in the winning match. The decisive run of our guys turned out to be 16:2 in the opening of the 4th period, which turned «-7» (40:47) into «+7» (56:49) 4:45 before the end of the game after the free throws.

UNICS-2 will hold its next games on October 9 and 10 in Samara against the youth team of the same name club.
