UNICS hosts the 1st round of the Semi-final round of the XXII Championship of Russia among juniors under 19

From December 14 to December 19, games of the 1st round of the Semi-final round of the XXII Championship of the Junior Basketball League will be held at the UNICS Center in the village of Vasilevo (Dachnaya str., 20).

In the group G1 of the Junior Championship the opponents of UNICS-Junior will be MBA-Academy (Moscow), SSHOR № 2 Samara region (Toliatti), Soyuz-SS (Zarechny), Novosibirsk and SSHOR Enisey (Krasnoyarsk).

The game list of the UNICS-Junior team for the tour to Vasilevo included:

Guard: Iskander Yusupov, Zamir Mingaliev, Ayaz Ali Alperen, Roman Ilyuk.
Forwards: Daniil Dubovoy, Nikita Nikiforov, Artur Vildanov, Daniil Nabiullin, Danil Rubtsov.
Centers: Artem Satiev, Mikhail Egorov, Nikita Pavlov.
Coaches: Oliver Popovic, Kirill Prokofiev, Artem Vasiliev.

PREGAME COMMENTS:

Oliver POPOVIC, BC UNICS-Junior head coach:

«As part of the home tour, we are expected to have 5 difficult matches. We will go step by step and prepare from opponent to opponent. Some players have been having health problems for the last two weeks, but I hope that the tour will turn out well for us. We will make every effort to show beautiful basketball and achieve high results».
