In the home matches of the regular season of the VTB United Youth League, which took place on January 15 and 16, UNICS-2 parted ways with the youth team from Samara-2.

In the first match Andrey Kibenko's team won a convincing victory with a score of 93:79. Vladimir NAUMOV became the best in the white-green team, scoring 22 points and adding 5 rebounds to them. Yaroslav PRISHEDKO stopped a step away from a double-double (16 points + 9 rebounds). Ilya Volodin has 10 points and 4 assists.

The success of the hosts was brought by the leadership under the boards (45 to 36 in rebounds). In addition, our guys closed the perimeter to the opponents, allowing them to make only 3 three-point shots out of 21 attempts (14%).

The next day, Samara-2 took revenge against UNICS-2 with a score of 79:74. Vladimir NAUMOV scored 16 points and took 4 rebounds. Yaroslav PRISHEDKO scored 12 points, collected 7 rebounds and gave 3 assists.

Andrey Kibenko's players will play their next matches on January 29 and 30 in Moscow against Runa-2.
