In the away matches of the regular season of the VTB United Youth League, which took place in Ekaterinburg last weekend, UNICS-2 parted ways with Uralmash-2.

In the first match Andrey Kibenko's team won a convincing victory with a score of 83:66. 4 basketball players of UNICS-2 scored double-digit points at once. The captain of the white-greens Yaroslav PRISHEDKO scored a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Ivan ALEKSEEV added another 15 points. Nikita LEDNEV has 12 points. Only one rebound Vladimir NAUMOV misses to double-double – 11 + 9.

On the first day, our guys made much more losses compared to the Uralmash players (22 to 13). However, the victory for UNICS-2 was brought by a double-digit superiority under the baskets (59 to 49 in rebounds) and a higher accuracy of hits from behind the arc – 9 realized three-point guests against only 4 accurate hits from the perimeter of the opponents.

On November 19, Uralmash-2 took revenge against UNICS-2 with a score of 81:69. The best in our youth team was guard Vladimir NAUMOV, who scored 20 points (3/6 from behind the arc), 4 rebounds and 3 assists. Semen SHARONOV brought the team 11 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Unfortunately, Kazan juniors again made losses, making 11 unforced errors more in comparison with the hosts – 18 to 7.

Andrey Kibenko's team will hold its next regular season matches of the VTB United Youth League on November 29-30 in Nizhny Novgorod.
