Velimir PERASOVIC, BC UNICS head coach:

«We played well for 30 minutes. The first half is probably our best segment this season. But I'm not at all happy with what I saw in the final quarter. We stopped scoring, relaxed in defense. It is clear that the players involuntarily lose concentration when there is such a gap, but this should not be allowed. VTB United League is a good level tournament. I think we can improve the team chemistry even more. But I am pleased that even in matches when things don't work out for us, like, for example, in the previous round with Samara, we manage to achieve victories».

Daryl MACON, BC UNICS guard:

«The game was great. I think it was one of our best games defensively for 3 quarters. We could’ve did better in the 4th but we stayed together. We played together. Trusted each other and came out on top. It was big road win that we needed».

Stanislav ILNITSKY, BC UNICS forward:

«It was a pleasure for me to return to Krasnodar and play in the Basket Hall, I thank the local fans for warmly welcoming me. We actively started the match and already in the first quarter we made a serious start. Everything worked out for us on offense, we ran into fast breaks and did not give any slack in defense. We managed to get a big advantage in the score due to aggression and pressure on the ball. I think that for 30 minutes we looked confident both in defense and in offense».

Alexander SEKULIC, BC Lokomotiv-Kuban head coach:

«Congratulations to UNICS – they prepared very well for the match. In the first quarter, we simply did not exist – neither in defense nor in offense. It looked as if the opponent had stunned us with his aggressiveness. UNICS have very skilled players who play very aggressive defense and fight back without fouls. We prepared the team for such intensity, but in the end it turned out that the team looked passive, especially in the first half of the match. It is very difficult to win a match after such a start, but we set ourselves the goal of reducing the gap as much as possible – and we can find some positive in the fact that we did at least that».
